This game is pretty interesting, i like the concept. Maybe you should add music and sound effects, but i think you already thought about it.

For now, it doesn't look too bad, it can be a good start.
I think that you could enlarge the logo at the title screen, the Story Mode and Options buttons could slide when you select them (but maybe you already thought about this), and you could change some colors, most of them are very saturated, like the sky or the pink window.
The animation is good, maybe the art isn't the best, but the animation looks very smooth, you did a great job with the movement and exaggeration, well done.

I didn't like this visuals very much, everything looks pixelated, but as a game, it has a very good concept, it's so cool to parry attacks. It was a short game, but it was fun to play.
im not very god at art so i used that to my advantage to make a more stylized game
The first level is fine, some simple platforming to start, but the second feels a bit unfair, especially on hard difficulty, here the enemies act now as platforms and i don't see it necessary, since if you manage to get to a high part and one of those enemies hits you, you have no way to get back where you were. The controls can feel a bit uncomfortable, it makes you walk more than you should.
Something i found cool was that wall jump that you can do in the secret area in the first level, i couldn't do that on the rest of the game (except for a part where there was a box), maybe you could implement that move on the main moveset, it could offer many possibilites for level design.
Overall, it's not a bad game, it just needs a little bit of work on the last levels, they need a more interesting level design.

I was thinking of adding different graphics on walls you can cling onto, just to make it more user friendly. I'm still working on my level design skills so expect some improvements on future projects :D
The game is too simple, there is no platforming or anything, is just walking, shooting and the occasional jump, there is no challenge. Having to walk all the time feels very uncomfortable. Maybe with some platforms or enemies shooting things the game would feel more alive.
I like the simple visuals, and the sprites are well animated.
I think a game like this can work if you refine it more.
